Facility files for child caring institutions licensed by the Division, including the Eau Claire Academy, La Crosse Home for Children, Sunburst Youth Homes (Neillsville, Wisconsin), the Wyalusing Academy (Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin), and St. Michael's Home (La Crosse, Wisconsin). The files make up an historical record of these institutions, and include material on the creation and development of the programs; licensing material; personnel materials; correspondence between the institutions, Clinicare Corporation in West Allis, and Division staff; and, in the case of Eau Claire Academy, material from the late 1970s concerning their locked unit policies.
